The Williston Downtowners Association office recently established a new headquarters and is kicking off its first Membership Drive on Tuesday, October 27th. An Open House will be held at 119 East Broadway (across from the Post Office) from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. with a Ribbon Cutting at 11:30 a.m. Soup and refreshments will be served. Visit with Executive Director Karissa Kjos and other board members.
Kjos will also be introducing the Membership Drive where any interested individuals, organizations and businesses can become official members of the association.
The Williston Downtowners Association consists of passionate Downtown enthusiasts who are bringing life back into the District. “We are a 501(c)6 non-profit organization that promotes and supports Downtown businesses and events to market the Downtown District as a destination,” said Kjos. The group is coming off a successful Farmers Market season and its first season of Summer Nights on Main. Upcoming events include: Trail of Treats, Small Business Saturday and the annual Holiday Stroll.Come visit us at our new location, across from the Post Office, and learn what it means to be a Downtowners Association member and the events we host!
